One of the unique services that we here at TDAT provide is the production of Polyurathane moulds that are taailored to any intricate shape that is needed.
The moulding is first designed by the design team, on Solidworks, to suit the shape of the part being held in the stillage and the model of this mould is sent to a local machining company whom make a sample of the mould or 'master'.
This master is then used to cast a female mould or 'soft tool' which in turn can be used to create a volume production of Polyurathane moulds.
Three moulding hardness' are available;
Orange 95 deg A (hard)
Red 65 deg A (soft)
Yellow 40 deg A (extra soft)
Although our primary design for mouldings is for stillages, we are happy to provide for any number of applications to suit your needs and budget.
